Vernon C. “Varmint” Langlois, 73, passed away Friday evening, July 18th, at River Hospital.
He was born November 16, 1951, in Alexandria Bay, son of John and Doris Deemer Langlois. He graduated from Alexandria Central High School.
“Varmint” worked several different jobs, but most notably as a bartender at the Village House and the Islander Inn, both in Alexandria Bay. He was a member of the Alexandria Bay American Legion. He loved the St. Lawrence River, especially Marsh Island, which his family owned for many years.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Marianne Raymond.
He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter, Jennifer Langlois, his brother, David Langlois, and his sister, Annette Nelson.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alexandria Bay Rescue Squad, 110 Walton St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607.
