Robin H. Gray, 74, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
She was born on August 5, 1951, in Camden, NJ, the daughter of Robert and Emma Hunter DiVietro. Robin graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden.
On May 10, 1969, she married William J. Gray, in Elkton, MD. The couple lived in the Pennsauken, NJ area for most of their working lives. After Bill’s retirement, they lived outside Gananoque, Ontario, for a time before settling in Redwood, NY, where they have resided for the past 20 years.
Robin worked for many years at Acme Markets, based in Deptford, NJ, and later in Cinnaminson, NJ. She also worked part-time at Kinney Drugs in Alexandria Bay, NY.
She was an active member of the Redwood Methodist Church. Robin was very involved in P.Y.A.A. and was her children’s No. 1 fan in multiple sports. Her greatest passion was cheerleading—she coached for many years and later continued that passion through her granddaughters. Her family was the most important part of her life.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Scott) Ward of Lindenwold, NJ; her son, William J. (Melissa) Gray III of Pennsauken, NJ; and her grandchildren: Jason (Trisha) Cardone, Chelsea (Gary) Spinelli, Brooke Cardone, Aria (Mark Cipparone) Ward, Scott Ward Jr., Kevin Ward, and Jaynelle Henderson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Emma Spinelli, William Cardone, Luna Spinelli, Francesca Cipparone, and Luca Cardone. She was predeceased by her son, William Gray Jr., and her grandson, Joseph Kristopher Cardone.
