ROBERT A. PLANTZ

June 15, 2017 Alexandria Bay, NY Robert A. Plantz, 64, of Plantz Road, passed away Thursday morning at Upstate Medical Center, in Syracuse. He was born April 27, 1953 in Alexandria Bay, son of Arthur and Gladys Crabb Plantz. He graduated from Alexandria Central School. He was co-owner of Northeast Construction for over 30 years. Bob was a classic car enthusiast and a huge fan of the Ford Motor Co. He was a regular at the Friday night “cruise in” at the Gal’s Place in Fisher’s Landing. He was a member of the Seaway Cruisers car club. He is survived by his daughter, Maggie Rollins, Redwood, NY, his sister, Karen Plantz and brother, Gary and his wife Lesa Plantz, all of Alexandria Bay, two grandchildren, Riverlin and Rift Rollins, and his longtime companion, Grace Anne Carmon. Nieces, nephews and cousins and his faithful dog, Shelby also survive. Calling hours will be Monday, June 19th from 1-3 and 6-9 pm, at the Costello Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff McIllrath officiating. A reception will immediately follow funeral home services at the Alexandria Bay American Legion. Burial at a later date will be private at Highland Park Cemetery, Alexandria Bay. Memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson County SPCA or to Cornell University, P.O.
