Richard L. Morrow

Richard L. Morrow, 78, passed away Sunday night at his home under Hospice care, with his loving family beside him.

Richard was born in Alexandria Bay on February 21,1948, the son of Ernest and Bernice Cromwell Morrow. He graduated from Alexandria Central School. On January 27, 1968, Richard and Sheila Skinner were married at the Theresa Methodist Church.

Richard spent his life as a Dairy Farmer, owning and operating Morrow Farm in LaFargeville. He enjoyed the woods, playing cards, table tennis, and spending time with his family and friends. Richard always found joy in advocating for and giving to those less fortunate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Richard's memory and donate to the charity of your choice.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; their son Alan (Wendy), Copenhagen, NY; their daughter Natalie Porter, LaFargeville, NY; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also brothers Toby (Donna) Morrow, Dexter, NY; Gerald Morrow, Lowville, NY; and sister Patricia (John) Phelps, Watertown, NY. He is predeceased by brothers Donald, Douglas, Robert, William, and Gary Morrow; and sisters Evelyn Hughes, Shirley Bacon, and Bertha Hodge.

A celebration of life event will be held at Theresa Fire Hall, 400 Mill St., Theresa, NY, on Sunday, November 1st from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
