Pauline F. Monica, resident at Samaritan Keep Home, passed away on Friday, February 16th at Samaritan Medical Center.

Pauline was born March 12, 1941, in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Paul and Mary Dietrich Kyser.   She was educated in Syracuse schools.

She worked as an Assembler at Northland Electric in Watertown and served many years as a steward of the I.B.E.W, retiring in 1998.

A marriage to Robert Monica ended in divorce.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Hal) Millett, Redwood, NY; sons, Robert Monica Jr., Fulton, NY and David (Paulette) Monica, Utah; grandchildren, Brandy Fetter, Ivy Johnston, Samuel Monica, Craig Caskinette, Halie Millett, Alicia Kidd, Joshua Monica, Gabby Monica, and David Monica, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her brothers, Paul, James, and Roy Kyser, and sisters, Margaret Kyser and Mary Usiatynski, all of Syracuse. Her siblings, Betty Royer, Joan Holladay, and Phillip Kyser pre-deceased her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
