Linda L. Gage

Linda L. Gage, 79, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, at her home.

Linda was born March 14, 1947, in Astoria, Queens, daughter of John and Ruth Rose Lamont. She graduated from Cornwall Central High School in Cornwall and worked for many years as a services business manager for Army and Air Force Exchange Service at West Point.

She married Gayle Lester Gage MSG (retired) U.S. Army on July 16, 1967, and enjoyed the life of a military spouse. Mr. Gage passed away Jan. 3, 2005.

Linda is survived by a son and his wife, Sean and Jennifer Gage, Monroe; a daughter and her husband, Kimberly and Craig Snow, Alexandria Bay; and a grandson, Zachary Avenengo.

Linda was a member of Alexandria Bay United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, making many hats, scarves, sweaters, and blankets for the church’s community efforts, as well as for family and friends.

Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Alexandria Bay United Methodist Church or the Alexandria Community Food Pantry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
