Fay E. Elk

Fay E. Elk, 78, longtime resident of Alexandria Bay, passed away March 29th at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

Fay was born on April 29, 1945, in Brockport, NY, the daughter of Junior Fred and Marjorie Proven Salisbury. She graduated from Alexandria Central School.

Fay worked as a U.S. Customs Broker for United Parcel Service on Wellesley Island, NY. She was a member of the Alexandria Bay Methodist Church and a former Junior Girl Scout Leader.

She is survived by four grandchildren, and siblings Gerald (Mary) Salisbury, Mrs. Paul (Sylvia) Mitchell, Mrs. Gregory (Rebecca) Edick, Vickie Cocco, and Mrs. Terry (Angela) Vanderbogart, and many nieces and nephews. Her siblings Mrs. James (Diana) Marolf and Donald Salisbury predeceased her.

Per Fay’s wishes, there will be no services.
