Eunice E. Cali

Eunice E. Cali, 92, of Dingman Point, Alexandria Bay, died peacefully at home on June 21 ^st , 2015. Eunice was born on November 4, 1922, in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of S. Eugene and Mary Colleary Wagoner. She graduated from Alexandria Bay High School in 1941. She worked as the secretary to the Superintendent of schools at Alexandria Central, retiring in 1985 after 38 years of employment. Eunice married Edward Cali on August 28, 1963. She traveled extensively and was a member of St. Cyril’s Altar and Rosary Society, Le Ray de Chaumont Chapter of the D.A.R., and the Town of Alexandria Historical Society. Eunice is survived by her sisters, Madelyn Hartman and Mrs. Richard (Eugenia) Kavanaugh, both of Alexandria Bay, five nieces, five nephews, seven great-nieces, and three great-nephews. Two sisters, Miriam Strough, and Jacquin Egenhofer, predeceased her. A funeral mass will be said at 11:00 am, on Thursday, June 25 ^th , at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church in Alexandria Bay. Burial will follow at St. Cyril’s Cemetery. Arrangements are with Costello Funeral Service, Alexandria Bay.
