Elizabeth "Betty Ann"` (Dingman) Castor

Elizabeth “Betty Ann” (Dingman) Castor, 73, Alexandria Bay, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 23rd at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Oswego, NY.

Betty Ann was born in Alexandria Bay, NY on April 19, 1953, the daughter of John E. Jr. and Elizabeth Tugwood Dingman. She attended Alexandria Central School and later received her General Equivalency Diploma. She worked for many years at the “Spot” and Homestead Restaurant in Alexandria Bay as a bartender and waitress.

Betty Ann enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her sons Michael and Jason and husband James Ingerson. She is survived by her sister Denise M. (Joe) Ingerson, LaFargeville, NY, her brother John E. Dingman III, Alexandria Bay, many nieces, great-nieces and nephews. A sister Irene M. Burns and brother Dennis Dingman also predeceased her.

A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
