Edward D. Brady, 65, of 2 nd Street Redwood, NY, passed away Monday, May 15 th at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Edward was born on September 8, 1951 in Watertown, the son of Daniel S. Sr. and Jean E. Latham Brady. He graduated from Immaculate Heart Central in Watertown.  He received his AA degree from Jefferson Community College and then earned his BS degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. Ed married Dorothy Dollinger on September 24, 1994 at St. Francis Xavier in Redwood with Msgr. Bailey officiating. Ed was a Senior Case Worker for the Jefferson County Department of Human Services in Watertown for 25 years. He was active with the Watertown Volleyball Association for 25 years. He was also the Fire Department Commissioner since 2006, a member of the 1000 Islands Sportsmen’s Club, and a Church School Teacher at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, their daughter, Megan Brady, Redwood; son Gary Dollinger, Watertown; his granddaughters Taylor and Emily; his brothers, Daniel S. Brady Jr., Watertown, NY, Shawn G. Brady and his wife, Vanessa, Three Mile Point, NY, and Colin J. Brady and his companion Evelyn Middlemiss, Alexandria Bay, NY; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 21 st from 2 - 5 pm at Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay.  The funeral mass will be held at 11 am at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church in Alexandria Bay on Monday, May 22 nd with Fr. Doug Comstock officiating.  Burial will take place following the funeral at Redwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s name to the Redwood Fire Department.
