Douglas R. Aznoe, 74, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 25th, at River Hospital.

He was born July 5, 1951, in Alexandria Bay, son of Gordon and Marion Taylor Aznoe. He graduated from Alexandria Central High School in 1969 and went on to serve in the United States Army Reserves from 1969 to 1971.

He married Denise Charlebois, on May 6, 1972, in Redwood. Mrs. Aznoe passed away on September 30, 2021.

Doug worked as a welder for Frink America, in Clayton, for many years, and then as an aviation mechanic, for LSI, on Fort Drum.

He loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and adored his wife, Denise.

He is survived by two sons, Richard (Heather), and Paul, both of Redwood, a brother, Lyle, Redwood and a sister, Diane Aznoe, Lake Katrine, NY, as well as three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A brother, Steve, predeceased him.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a time to be announced.
