Deborah P. Hughto

Deborah P. Hughto, 64, of Catherine Avenue, Alexandria Bay, passed away at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, with her loving family by her side. Deborah was born on July 18, 1953 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Donald and Virginia Moore Simpson.  She graduated from Alexandria Central School.  She worked for many years at the Corner Pharmacy in Alexandria Bay and then for Kinney Drugs, where she had been currently working as a supervisor. Debbie married David Hughto on June 9, 2006 at the Alexandria Bay United Methodist Church. She was an active member of Alley Cat Rescue. Debbie is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Kelly Clark, Buffalo, NY; her sisters, Cindy Simpson and Sarah Smith, both of Alexandria Bay; her brother Donald “Butch” Simpson, Alexandria Bay; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sheila Hughto, Richlands, NC; and three grand-daughters. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 4 ^th from 5-7:30 and from 11-12 noon on Saturday at Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay. A funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Frederica Webb on Saturday at 12 noon at the funeral home.
