David F. Brandt, 79, Butternut Point Rd., passed away at his home on May 9th.
David was born in Rochester on February 10, 1945, the son of Erich and Marion Waterstraat Brandt. He graduated from Pulaski Senior High School in New Britain, CT and then from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), earning a bachelor’s degree in business.
David served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea in the 1970’s. He was a scheduler for the Rochester Public Bus Service and later was head of scheduling for Connecticut Transit, in New Haven, CT.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Redwood and was also active for many years with the Redwood Historical Society.
David is survived by his sister, Barbara Brandt, Lawrenceville, NJ, a nephew, Adam Brandt (Jessica McWilliams-Brandt) and great niece Sydney Brandt all of Pittsburgh, PA.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
